Economizer Units
They are the units used as external subcoolers (extreme liquid cooler) that reduce the liquid line temperature of direct expansion cooling systems, increasing the cooling efficiency and thus reducing the energy consumption. Depending on the process temperature, up to 30% energy savings can be achieved. Economizer units can be produced in two types as the condenser is air or water cooled.
